We are all Peculiars~AGPS

 ~
HIYA. I'm back. :)
I hope you all had a wonderfully splendid holiday season. :)

This photoshoot was inspired by a book I've been reading.
It's called Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.
Oh my goodness, it is so good.  One of the main character's names is Emma, and she is described as a teenage girl with curly blonde hair. She always wears a white dress. When I saw this dress in the girls' clothing I knew I had to do this photoshoot. The book is a combination of photos and writing, so I thought some of the photos from my film camera that didn't turn out so well would be perfect to use. The book is not a picture book though; it's like the pictures are tied into the writing. The characters are constantly referring to photos that were taken.
The weird thing is that all of the photos taken are really strange. And they were all photos that the author actually found. Real photos.

Anyway, just an interesting bit of info. I totally recommend reading it. Plus, I've heard there is going to be a Tim Burton film based on it. So think Nightmare Before Christmas Style. :D

Before I sign off, I have a quick question for you all. Now that June has left, I'm not so sure how much I want to continue with this blog. I do not want to give up blogging about American Girl quite yet, so I want to ask your opinion.
Should I transfer it to Writings and have it be a blog that covers it all? Or should I make a completely new one based on AG? I am indecisive, so I thought I would ask you all what you thought.
Have a great rest of your weekend!
P.S. I forgot to tell you, but I bought my mom's D40 from her! She wanted to get a new camera, so she agreed to sell the Nikon to me. We got the dirt off of the mirrors FINALLY. I am so in love with it!

This Post Needs a Name :( (To be determined.....)

Well............... I am not sure how to start this post (or what to name it). Anyway, long time no see. Right? Not as long as some of my breaks...... right? Well, it is nice to be back once again. You may have read the title (but if you haven't take a glance up at the top and you'll understand) I don't know what to name this post. Not my most impressive photoshoots either but I think it will do. I took the pictures about 1 month ago? No. The grass is green and the leaves are as well. So, more like the middle of September. Today the FANTASTIC Kit Kitteridge will be modeling and narrating this post for you, so sit back, relax, and enjoy cutie pants speak.
P.S. I once again couldn't figure out how to rotate the photos. TeeHee. And I didn't feel like watermarking the photos. So please be considerate, don't steal my photos. Thanks!

Kit: Hey, again readers!!!!!!! I am excited to show you the FANTASTIC Kit. I was thinking about saying,"but before we do I have a big announcement," but I don't. Triste :( Translation: sad in Spanish. I guess I should be quiet. Don't you want to hear more about me? No. You probably don't. Okay. TAKE 2 ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you everybody. See ya. ;)

~

Long time no see, right?? Well, we're back. We did a lot of traveling during July and August, so we weren't able to find much time to post. Plus school began. ;)

How have you all been? Is school going well? June and I are enjoying school pretty well so far. :)

Anyway, we hope all is well, and we'll be sure to post more often. I have a post that is almost ready, and I think you'll all like it. :)

Blossoms~A Photoshoot of Emily

Hi! It is Emily with a photoshoot straight from June's camera! June told me that she is impressed with the photos and she told me I was a great model! (Even though I wasn't trying to model for the camera, I was just trying to be me!) Anyway... June also has told me that she will post a review of my sister Mia soon too. Now I better shut my mouth because you might be getting anxious. (June also figured out how to rotate the photos)
Let's roll the photos!
Hello, it is June! I agreed to let Emily start the introduction to this post, but now I will take lead of the photoshoot!

This one is probably my favorite of all the photos I took, I love the sun in the background.

Probably one of my favorite places to take photos is by our shed/play house.
Usually Emy's hair look like a light brown in dim light, but in the sun it is very easy to see her wonderful red hair.
Not my favorite, but it will do...
I think the shadows create a nice accent to the photo.

Not a very long photoshoot, but I think I am impressed with the results!!!!
