The Warm Welcome~An AG Photo Story

Hello everybody it is June with some very exciting news, as some of you know today on Google Plus I wrote about how I needed someone to pinch me because I thought I might be dreaming. Well it turns out I wasn't (whoo hoo!). Yes, I am very excited, as you all know yesterday was Christmas and you won't believe who I got. To answer another question I did get another doll! It was the last present I opened I literally screamed my head off, it was such a huge surprise I thought I would never get her and here she is right before my eyes.

It was December 26, 2014 or the day after Christmas. Emily and Kit were opening their POP Vinyl Figures of Anna and Elsa. "She is amazing", Emy exclaimed.
Kit had just opened hers too. "Elsa has a snowflake in her hand, and her dress is the perfect color."
The girls replayed the scene were Anna and Elsa sing the First Time in Forever Reprise. "I can't!" Kit said as she was pretending to shoot her Ice Powers at Anna.
                                                             "Ooff,"  Emily exclaimed.
The girls had been playing for a hour straight, and they were getting a bit bored.
"Hey, I've got an idea let's try on our new Anna and Elsa dresses that we got for Christmas", Emily said as she pulled her Anna dress and cloak out of the clothes bin.
"Ah ha, I have found it. Aww isn't just beautiful, it looks like it is such great quality too," Kit said trying to agree with Emily, even though she (being a total tomboy) did not entirely agree with her.

Emily and Kit had just finished trying on their new dresses when they saw Ruthie walk out of the adjacent room to theirs.
"Hey, Emily. Hey Kit,"Ruthie said she sounded like she had a rough night sleeping. Her eyes were droopy and her voice was slow.
"You guys look like you are bored, and for some reason lately I have been wanting to play Tic-Tac-Toe," Ruthie said as she stared at us blankly, as she grabbed out a red pen, and some white lined paper.
The first round Ruthie won against Emily. second Kit won against Ruthie, and third round Emily  won against Kit.
One by one each of the girls woke up and lazily walked out of their bedrooms.

The whole doll family waved as their mom (me) walked out of her bedroom and said, "Good morning! If there is a knock at the door I need someone to answer it please because it might be our visitor".
                                                          "Who is it?"Ariel asked.
                                                          "Who is it?"Isabelle asked.
"Who is it?" asked Kit. Her voice was followed by a very quiet knock at the door.

Ruthie jumped up she was so excited to see who this special visitor was. "I'll get it!"
Ruthie opened the door and was greeted by the sight of a girl about her age.
"Hello," the girl said in a thick British accent. "Am I at the Kithens' household?"
Ruthie replied, "Yes this is the Kithens household! My name is Ruthie Kithens, what's yours?"
The girl replied, "Mia Jane Bennett."
Ruthie said, "Well, come on in!"
The quiet girl walked in and was confronted with the sight of ten girls sitting around an enormous dining room table.
"Mia? Is that really you? I'm Emily Bennett!!"
"Emily? I thought I would never see you again!!!!" Mia began sobbing with relief.
The girls talked for hours, both grateful that their twin had returned.
Emily gave Mia a hug and said, "I promise, we will never be separated again."
~
I GOT MIA!!!!!!!! I am so thankful for being able to have her, she is just stunning. My mom found a really good deal on eBay, and she knew how much I had wanted Mia. She came with the white dress she's wearing, an old AG soccer outfit, and a hairbrush. Ginny helped our mom clean up her hair and skin, and they both made the purple shoes she's wearing!!

Mia's story is that she is Emily's twin. They were separated at five years old in England, and are now reunited.

So what do you think of Mia?

Now that we are on break, we're pretty sure we'll have more time to post. :) Anyway, we were nominated by Miss Rylee from Picture Perfect AG!! Thank you so much girl, you are such a sweetie! She made this AMAZING award herself, and we really thing she did an amazing job with it. :D

5. Put this award on your sidebar of award/tag page if you were nominated
6. Leave a comment on your nominees blog letting them know they've been nominated
Here are Rylee's Questions:
1. Hot chocolate of Hot apple cider?
Ginny: I'd probably have to go with Hot Chocolate. However, I love cold apple cider (And NO, it is not just apple juice. There is a difference. There is a local Apple Cider Press nearby, and THEY ARE SO STINKIN' AMAZING I CAN'T STAND IT.)
June: I like Hot Chocolate best. :)
2. What is your favorite part of Christmas?
Ginny: I love wrapping gifts and thinking of how happy their receiver will be when they get the gift. :) I also love the overall cheerful feeling that comes at Christmas time. Ooh, one more thing; on Christmas morning, June and I wake up at like seven-ish, and we just sit and talk for hours until our parents wake up. (Usually our dad gets up at about five a.m. on Christmas, but our mom and bro like to sleep in :))
June: I love spending time with family, and seeing and playing in the snow. It's so fun! xD
3. Do you wish you were younger or older than you are?
Ginny: I don't really know. I think I like the age I am; I don't really have any issues with being a teenager. :)
June: I think I wish I were younger because I miss having no homework and being able to be little and play. :D
4. Lee Pace or Evangelina Lilly?
Ginny: Uhhh....who? I'm sorry, I'm so dang clueless about celebrities. I guess I'm not super mainstream. :) My life is homework, orchestra, reading, and hanging with family. ;)
June: Uhh...I don't know who they are.
5. What is your favorite Christmas food?
Ginny: Jeez, I can't just choose one!! I love eating ham and potato casserole (A.K.A Funeral Potatoes, don't ask me why), although we eat that all year round. I also like cheesy cauliflower, chocolate crinkle cookies, and pecan pie. :)
June: Ham and Potato Casserole with Cabbage Salad. It's soooooo good. :)

Thanks again Rylee!!
We nominate:
American Girl Chick: She is so sweet, and is always so supportive! Her blog is also absolutely adorable. :)

1. Wonder Woman or Super Girl (or do you even know who they are S;))?
2. Which of your Christmases in the past have been the most memorable?
3. Do you like making things out of duct tape? If so, what have you made?
4. If you celebrate Christmas, on your tree, do you hang unique ornaments that each family member has, or do you hang ornaments that all look the same? (Sorry if this question was confusing)
5. What is your favorite version of Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol? (It could be the book, or it could be one of the movies)
We love you all!!

I May or May Not Have Told a Bit of a Fib....

Hello all!! How has school been? For me, it has mostly be constituted of The Merchant of Venice (I am literally one of the only kids in my English class that is actually enjoying it, I mean who could go wrong with Shakespeare???? Do any of you like Shakespeare?), an essay on that play, and notes for Euro. *sighs* And online math homework (What the heck? Math is NOT supposed to be online -___-). Oh, and not playing loud enough in orchestra. Anyway, on a slightly happier note, our grandparents are coming this week from Oregon. YAY FAMILY TIME! :D However, that means that I will be unable to use the area where the girls are located (AKA my room). You know how I told you that nearly all of the pictures are taken for LSN? Well, (this is where the fib comes in) the camera was giving me fits over the weekend, so I was unable to take some of the pics. *looks around quite sheepishly* That means no LSN this week unfortunately, although I do solemnly swear that I have something else planned that I *may* take the pictures for tomorrow before they arrive.
Since we still have had no snow, I took some photos of Cece and Grace just for fun. :)

Sorry about the black specks. I was using my mom's Nikon D40 which has always had several black specks stuck in the lenses. -____-

YAY FOR PHOTOS! I hope you all have a fantastically amazing rest of the week, and I will definitely try to get that story I have planned and LSN up soon. =)
P.S. Do any of you watch Aspen Heights? I started watching it last night (I got through season one, whoop, whoop!!), and ohmygoodness, it's fabulous. Just perfect.

Le Soir Noir~Season 1, Part 4

'Ello everyone! So, strangely, we have had ZERO snow this month, so the yard is bare. For us, it's really hard to get into the Christmas spirit right now, but hopefully it will snow soon-ish. Yes, I do dislike snow, but I feel like December is just one of those months in which you need snow. So...a lack of snow means more Le Soir Noir!! I have *most* of the pictures taken up until the finale (part eight), so I will try to schedule them to post every Friday....Also, we recently met a small business owner who makes furniture for dolls. She would really like it if we made some of their patterns and showed them to you all, so as soon as Christmas break starts, we will start working on a few of the projects. If you would like to visit their site before we do the post, you can do so *here* Oh, and sorry that some of these pics are blurry, my room was kind of dark.
~x~x~x~
From Corinne's POV
I walk down the hallway quickly, hoping that no one was following me.
I reach the corner, and turn right, seeing a doorway ahead.
I peer in through the doorway and see a room. I scan the furniture and see that the room does contain a vanity.
I look at the bunk bed on the side. For a moment, I am confused, for I thought this was a coat room. They must have run out of rooms for patients.
I see a young girl, probably no more than eight years old, laying on the bottom bunk. Her chest rises and falls slowly, and she takes weak, wheezing breaths. "Je suis desole, jeune fille," I say. She reminds me of sweet little Aurelie.
I step quietly into the room, hoping that she won't mind if I use her vanity.
The vanity is identical to the one in my hospital room.
I pick up the delicate pitcher, pouring some of the slightly cloudy water into the bowl.
I wet the embroidered towel. and bring it to my face, dabbing away the excess dirt and powder that had been coating it.

I pull the elastic out of my hair, tugging gently.
My hair comes loose, and I look in the mirror, finding that my hair is very tangled.
I brush it quickly, loosening the snarls and pulling the hair up.
I quickly twist the hair up into a bun, and pin it in place.

I step away from the vanity, still hoping that no one will catch me, when I hear a small whisper.
"What are you doing in here? This is my roo-" The girl stops talking abruptly, beginning to snore just the tiniest bit.
"Zut, that was too close," I whisper.
I pull a cloak and white dress off the rack, and put the dress on.
I don't bother to take off the thin slip, and I pick up the lush velvet cloak. I'm not really sure whose clothes these are, but they seem fairly nice. I make a silent oath to return them as soon as I can go home. Briefly, I wonder why I will need a cloak, but I'm in a hurry so I ignore that thought, slipping the cloak on and tying the ribbons.
I step out of the young girl's room, praying for her with every step, when I hear, "Stop right there."
~To be continued~
La Dictionaire de Francais:
Je suis desole, jeune fille: I am sorry, young girl.
Zut: The English equivalent of dang it
